About the Partnership for a Healthier America

The Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) is working to end the childhood obesity crisis by making the healthy choice the easy choice for busy parents and families, and then working to increase consumer demand for those healthier options. Childhood obesity is more than a health issue. It's an economic issue, a work productivity issue, an achievement issue and a national security issue.

Founded in 2010 in conjunction with – but independent from Let's Move!, and whose honorary chair is Michelle Obama, PHA brings together public, private and nonprofit leaders to improve the supply of, and generate demand for, healthier options. Most importantly, PHA ensures that commitments made are commitments kept by working with unbiased, third parties to monitor and publicly report on the progress our 225 partners are making to show everyone what can be achieved when we all work together.

For more information about PHA and our signature intiatives, please reach out to Rachel Yost at ryost@ahealthieramerica.org or 202-864-6051.
